Engordany players pay half of the debt

The players of UE Engordany returned to training yesterday evening after the club paid them part of the salaries not yet paid, which led the footballers not to appear in the last two matches of the Liga Multisegur and that he left the club one appearance away from being kicked out of the competition.

Despite not appearing on Sunday in the duel against UE Sant Julià, the club was hoping to find a solution this week which ended up arriving, at least partially.

The players were due to receive three salaries and yesterday the owner of the club, the ex-Argentine footballer Christian Cellay, paid them a month and a half salary with the money coming from UEFA for the call-ups of the international footballers, since seven of the players from the white-and-black squad are usually called up by the national team.

With this first partial solution, the footballers of the UE Engordany resumed activity yesterday after a few days off and are waiting for the economic situation to be regularized in a short time in full with the payment of the rest of the debt . The squad looks forward to this first payment and, in principle, will appear in Sunday's duel against FC Santa Coloma.
