At least 4 dead and several Injured in Alabama Shooting

At Least Four Dead According To A Alabama Police Statement

According to a statement from police authorities in Alabama, the shooting took place around 22:30 on Saturday (local time, 04:30 on Sunday in Lisbon), at a Mahogany Masterpiece dance studio.

Initially, local media, citing police, said the shooting had taken place in a building in downtown Dadeville during a teenager's birthday.

Without specifying the gender of the birthday boy or the ages of the fatal victims, the police, in the statement, also did not identify the suspects, nor did they specify the number of injured.

The document does not say whether the suspect was arrested, nor does it clarify the reason for the shooting, although, initially, the police advance that he may have been in a fight.

“This morning I am also in mourning with the people of Dadeville and my companions in Alabama. Violent crimes have no place in our state. We are constantly updating ourselves with the police forces with all the information that arises”, said the governor of Alabama, Kay Ivey, through a statement released by the media.
